HyRAP Media Event

Over 115 people attended the Grand Opening Celebration for Brooks Construction Company's new asphalt plant on Banks Ave. in Fort Wayne, IN.  The plant was dedicated to Ray Fisher who retired in 2010 after serving Brooks for 47 years.  Fisher is responsible for many of innovations and advancements in asphalt manufacturing.  Brooks Construction also unveiled HyRAP, a sustainable 100% recycled asphalt material at the event held June 22, 2011.  Attendees at the event were able to tour the multi-million dollar facility, view the various components of HyRAP, witness an actual paving demonstration and learn about the benefits of this cost effective, envirnomentally friendly asphalt material.
